Dr. Deepak Mehta was born in the year 1965 and presently working as Professor in School of Physical Education of Devi Ahilya University, Indore (M.P). He was head and Chairman in faculty of Physical Education, Devi Ahilya University. Professor Mehta obtained his educational qualifications from LNCPE (Gwalior, India) by doing B.P.E, M.P.E., and M.Phil in Physical Education and obtained his Doctorate degree in Physical Education from Devi Ahilya University, Indore (1995) in the areas of Sport Psychology and Cricket. Presently working in the university department for the last 25 years, and has vast teaching and research experience in the areas of Sport Psychology, Research and Cricket, besides publishing many national and international level research papers, he was awarded Major Research Project on tribal children talent identification from University Grants Commission (U.G.C) New Delhi, INDIA in the year 2005-06. Apart from teaching he is involved in coaching of Cricket at the University level and has represented West zone for Vizzy trophy cricket organized by B.C.C.I and AIU in the year 1988. He captained Jiwaji University cricket team and also represented Madhya Pradesh for CK Naidu trophy. Prof. Mehta has vast experience of guiding around 40 research studies at postgraduate and M.Phil level and 12 research scholars have been awarded PhD degree under his guidance.
